Technology plays an important role in society, for it changed how a person conducts his/her own life in terms of communication, thoughts, and learning. It has both positive and negative effects. let us start with the positive impact of technology in;

Technology has brought many new electronic communication methods such as emails, telegram, Twitter, zoom, etc. You can have conferences and talk with people who are miles away worldwide. One can chat or mingle, share their thoughts, feelings, and emotions easily from where they are. Information or directions is easily transmitted, and feedback is given to fastening service delivery in the community.

There is the increased accessibility of treatment since the introduction of technology in the health sector. We have health apps that track chronic illness, diet, exercise, and health information, which has helped to keep people safe and healthy. Also, hospitals are using advanced technology to track records of patients to improve service delivery. Moreover, we have virtual doctor visit that has benefited especially the elderly

Technology has made learning interesting and fun. Students can easily access resources and information at any time. Students can do their research and even go beyond the classroom and download videos to assist them in learning and understanding. Online education has been a great idea for many individuals across the globe, for they can access lectures and exams easily from where they are at any given time. 

   4.Service delivery

There is improved development in society through technology. For example, improved tarmac roads; there is a swift movement of goods, people, and products in the society. Technology is also transforming journalism. Journalists use the internet to create content and pass information.

 

 

Living in a tech-filled world, there are also some negative ways technology can change our lives. Technology separates families; the way we rely on technology instead of face-to-face contact causes families to break. It promotes the Abuse of drugs and bad sexual behaviors. It also distracts you from schoolwork.
